The Greenbank annual show is held in March of each year with the objective to promote a good community spirit while promoting improvement in the breeding and quality of livestock and encouraging the development of agricultural, floricultural, industrial and pastoral resources in Greenbank and surrounding districts. This is achieved by holding exhibitions of livestock including goats, cattle and horses and agricultural produce including vegetables, fruit, flowers plus machinery, manufactures, fine arts etc. Prizes and ribbons are given for the best exhibits.
The annual country show will be held at the Greenbank Show Grounds, Teviot Road, Greenbank on Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th March 2010. Gates open to the public at 8.30 am. It's a traditional Country Show right on the fringe of the city with plenty to see and fun for all the family.
